FAQs

How do our guests get there?
Baci Baci is located in Chapel 1885 at 25 Sackville Street, Collingwood, VIC, 3066. There is some on-street parking but carpooling is recommended. Public transport is available via tram and bus on Smith Street/Johnston Street.

 

What is Baci Baci’s capacity?

Our packages cater for up to 50 guests. Additional guests incur extra charges.

Baci Baci can host:
–  100 guests at a cocktail event with room for a dance floor
–  70 guests at a seated event with room for a dance floor

 

What are the venue inclusions?
You’ll get exclusive use of the venue including a couples suite, welcome foyer and powder room.

Depending on the package you choose, we also include:
–  Signing table and chairs
–  6 x timber rectangle dining tables
–  76 x black and rattan dining chairs
–  8 x timber top bar tables and stools
–  3 x black bar tables and stools
–  Cake table
–  Full heating and cooling
–  Use of inbuilt AV equipment
–  Two wireless microphones

Can I customise the packages?

Our packages have been designed with simplicity and ease in mind, but we are happy to custom quote if you have something more bespoke in mind.

 

Can we use an external caterer or BYO alcohol?

Our in-house caterer specialises in event dining experiences and your custom catering quote goes towards your minimum spend. We allow small amounts of BYO alcohol in addition to our packages, and for a small fee, you can chat with our team about how this works.

 

Can we do our own styling?

Our in-house team The Goodsmiths come highly recommended. You are able to include their styling services in your package as a bolt-on option. Alternatively, you can use your own stylist.

 

If we decide to work with Anatomy of Flowers for our event, can we customise the flower process to our preferences?

If you opt for the Grande package or go custom, yes.

 

How long do we have the venue for?

Your package selection will ascertain the amount of hours you have access to your venue.

Poco bookings have 30 minutes either side of the 30-minute ceremony.

Mezzo and Grande packages are inclusive of two (2) hours for set up and one (1) hour pack down. The below are examples of full allocations.

Morning bookings are generally allocated between 7.00am-1.00pm.

This includes two (2) hours for set up, event start time of 9.00am, event conclusion at 12.00pm and event pack down complete by 1.00pm.

Evening bookings are generally allocated between 2.00pm-12.00am.

This includes two (2) hours for set up, event start time of 4.00pm, event conclusion at 11.00pm and event pack down complete by 12.00am.

 

Rose petals

One small box of fresh rose petals is permitted for use internally or externally (any further may incur additional cleaning fees). Confetti is not permitted.

 

PA system for ceremony

The ceremony space has an inbuilt audio system with two wireless microphones.

 

Music

There is a built-in PA system with a phone, which can operate Spotify playlists. This is recommended as background music for ceremony and cocktail period only. 

 

Is there a lift and a ramp to access the venue spaces?

We have ramp access to the venue at the back of the building and an internal lift. Please notify us on arrival.

 

Do you have high chairs?

High chairs are available at the venue. Please add these to your seating chart so they can be set according to your floor plan.

 

Is there wifi?

Wifi is accessible on site. 

 

How is the venue heated / cooled?

There is a generous amount of split systems throughout the venue for both heating and cooling. This is managed by your Venue Manager.
